/integer_size

Syntax:

/integer_size:size or /4I2

The /integer_size or /4I2 option specifies the size (in bits) of integer and logical declarations, constants, functions, and intrinsics. In the visual development environment, specify the Default Integer Kind in the Fortran Data Compiler Option Category. These options are:

• /integer_size:16 or /4I2

  Makes the default integer and logical variables 2 bytes long. INTEGER and LOGICAL declarations are treated as (KIND=2).

• /integer_size:32

  Makes the default integer and logical variables 4 bytes long (default). INTEGER and LOGICAL declarations are treated as (KIND=4).

• /integer_size:64

  Makes the default integer and logical variables 8 bytes long. INTEGER and LOGICAL declarations are treated as (KIND=8).
